  • The police now suspect Moninder Singh Pandher, accused in the Noida serial killings case, may be part of an international child pornography racket.

They have seized photographs of nude children from his D-5, Noida residence apart from pornographic literature, a laptop computer and a webcam.

The Indian Express has learnt that several photographs showing Moninder in the company of nude children were recovered from his house. SSP R K Singh Rathore, when contacted, said that the Noida police were in possession of these photographs and Moninder would be questioned about these.

Moninder visited Los Angeles, Switzerland, Dubai, Canada and China last October. While some photographs show Moninder watching a dance being performed by nude children, others show him in the company of some foreigners. Police say two of his family members accompanied him on the tour. The children in the photographs are Indian. “These photographs, if true, could expose Moninder as till now the Noida police are banking on circumstantial evidence to get him convicted,” said Rathore.

One of the many questions that Noida police have requested forensic experts to ask Moninder is why he went abroad four times. Police suspect that Moninder provided pornographic videos made of children to clients abroad. Among the material recovered are photos that link Moninder to paedophilia.

SSP Rathore said the brief to FSL Gandhinagar also includes questioning on these lines. However, the police are not leaving out any angle. “One angle of investigation is focussed on organ trade. The other is the sexual abuse angle. Questions related to this have to be put to the two accused at FSL,” he said.

The two accused, Moninder and his cook Surendra Koli, were flown to Ahmedabad yesterday. Rathore said: “We have prepared a comprehensive questionnaire of 30-40 questions to which the two accused would be subjected during the test.” Rathore said the tests might take at least three days. The accused are in police remand till January 10.

“Apart from the possibility of organ trade and child pornography rackets, the Noida police also wanted to know if there was any one else involved in the case and that what was his profession,” said a source.

Noida police, which according to sources are still groping in dark for the actual reason for the murders, are now pinning their hopes on the possibility of Moninder and Koli revealing fresh facts before experts in a state of trance.

A team of forensic experts from the Central Forensic Lab in Agra visited D-5 today. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed under the command of Rathore went through the evidence the police had collected.

Another police team is camping in Mumbai looking for alleged pimp Neelam. It was she who introduced Payal to Moninder. Police suspect Neelam could have the keys to some of Moninder’s secrets.

This case is open from last 2 or 3 years and they were giving this man clean chit. They haven't searched even his home. I hope he did these with someone from Gandhi's family or any other politician's.
