Four injured in student clash

A brawl among a few students of Devi Dyal Institute,Barwala,turned violent on Friday when four got injured,one critically,and landed up in hospital. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon when a group of four youths were on their way to the Mauli police post where they were called in connection with a complaint filed by Manjit Mann and Jagdeep Singh,students of BTech at the same institute,the police said. The attack was said to be a fallout of a fight between the two groups on an earlier occasion. Ashish,Deepak,Nitish and Amit Kadian,students of the institute,had allegedly confronted Manjit and Jagdeep earlier,following which the latter had filed a police complaint.
