Four members of a family, including a baby, were killed in a road accident in Malda district while they were returning from a hospital after meeting an ailing relative who also died of heart attack, police said on Sunday. Two women and a one-and-a-half-year old baby were among the four who died on the spot after their car hit a small passenger van coming from the opposite side in Gajan Hili area on Saturday. Eleven people travelling in the van were also left injured, police said. After being told about the accident, a close relative of those killed in the accident whom they had gone to meet, also died of heart attack in Malda Sadar Hospital, sources said.
