Four labourers died when a wall at a stone-crushing site collapsed on them on Monday. The dead included two women. Police said a 12-foot boundary wall collapsed when a bulldozer was dumping sand near it.
Robbers kill help
New Delhi: Armed robbers strangled to death a domestic help and looted cash and jewellery from a Vikaspuri businessman's house on Monday, police said. According to police, she was alone in the house when the incident took place. Police said they are analysing her call records to identify the people she spoke to before her death.
Drugs seized, 2 held
New Delhi: Police have arrested two men from Munirka and recovered 55,000 tablets of Schedule-H drug Relipen. Police said the men were trying to send the medicines to Manipur. One of the accused is a graduate from Sikkim.

New Delhi: A 40-year-old man, who suffered 90 per cent permanent disability in a road mishap involving a rashly-driven car, has been awarded a compensation of
Rs 36.98 lakh by a Motor Accident Claims Tribunal. Manjeet Singh told the tribunal that the accident took place on July 1, 2009, when a Santro hit him as he was crossing a road near Dhaula Kuan.
Man held with a bullet
New Delhi: A man was detained
at the IGI Airport on Monday for allegedly carrying a live bullet in his hand baggage while boarding a Dubai-bound plane. "Ankit Kumar Yadav of Rohini Sector-9 was detained and handed over to police after CISF personnel found a live bullet of .32 calibre gun from his hand baggage during security check," a CISF spokesperson said.
