Fusion fest kicks off

  • Fusion-2008, an inter-school youth festival and BCM’s most awaited mega event got off to a colourful start here on Thursday evening.

    Nearly 33 elite schools from Punjab, UP and abroad participated in this grand event.

    A delegation of students and teachers from Islamabad College of Arts and Sciences, Budhanikantha school, Nepal, and Indian School, Darsait, Muscat, arrived here to be a part of this festival. The ceremony was inaugurated by Dr.G S Wander, co-ordinator, Hero DMC Heart Institute, DMCH.

    The programme started with a welcome address by the principal, Paramjit Kaur, which was followed by a choreography. Balloons and glitters created a colourful ambience in the hall at the inaugural ceremony. Nusrat Tahir, director-cum-principal, Islamabad College of Arts and Sciences, was the guest of honour for the capture-foot event.
