In Northwest Delhi, Tri Nagar candidate Nand Kishore Garg lost the last Assembly polls to Congress candidate Anil Bhardwaj by a margin of 8,491 votes. This time too, he was pitted against Bhardwaj and lost by a huge margin.
BJP leaders, meanwhile, choose to remain silent than analyse the reasons for their defeat. A meeting of all district presidents was cancelled at the last minute. “We will analyse our performance after December 13, once Rajinder Nagar elections are also cleared,” said Delhi BJP president Harsh Vardhan.
