Sharad Singhal became the new Gandhinagar SP after a minor reshuffle on Friday in which six IPS officers were transferred. Singhal was DCP (Zone II) in Ahmedabad. He replaces Archana Shivhare, who goes to Surat as a DCP.
M L Ninama, a commandant in SRPF, will take over as DCP (Zone II) in Ahmedabad.
Parikshita Rathod, DCP (Zone V) in Ahmedabad, has been shifted to Gandhinagar as SP in the state's Intelligence Bureau. DCP Traffic (Ahmedabad) Siddharth Khatri will take Rathod's place.
SRPF commandant D H Parmar would take place of Khatri.
