A gang of five thieves was arrested by the Sarabha Nagar police on Saturday. The thieves, in the age group of 18-25 years, were involved in petty thefts and crimes.
The recent incident of theft was reported from I block of the BRS Nagar in which goods worth Rs 3 lakh were stolen. Sarabha Nagar SHO Beant Juneja said, “Of the stolen items, goods worth Rs 2.5 lakh have been recovered.”
The thieves- Raj Karan, Ajay Chauhan have been implicated even in other cases as well while Monu Garcha, Manjit and Manish have been booked under the Arms Act. All were produced in court and have been sent for the three-day police remand.
