  • Overseas Indian Affairs Minister Vayalar Ravi is a good farmer and he’s using agricultural skills to turn around his bungalow, occupied earlier by the late Pramod Mahajan. At his official residence, Ravi is growing broccoli, fenugreek, cauliflower and, to keep that south flavour intact, curry leaves too. Lucky visitors to his 7 Safdarjung Road residence go back with gifts of home-grown vegetables. The minister himself takes care of the farm. And the accessibility to curry leaves is a great relief to his many visitors, a lot of them from the south.
