Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute (GCRI) will prepare Gujarat Cancer Atlas, said institute officials who celebrated the National Cancer Awareness Day on Saturday.
In association with the Indian Council of Medical Research, all the six metros are developing a register for the new cancer cases. “With the joint effort of the state government and GCRI, we will screen every patient and develop a district-wise register. This will be a first-of-its-kind move,” said GCRI Associate Professor Dr Parimal Vyas.
