A nine-year-old girl was mauled to death by a leopard in Kupwara district of north Kashmir.

A nine-year-old girl was mauled to death by a leopard in Kupwara district of north Kashmir,officials said today.

Fiza Rashid was attacked and dragged by the animal into a nearby forest at Hayan,90 kms from here,they said.

Half-eaten body of the girl was later recovered by rescue team,comprising police personnel and locals.
