It may appear a bit weird, but a dozen glamour girls stripped off and paraded topless through the city of Manchester to show their solidarity for British troops fighting abroad.
The women, wearing only tight leather trousers and camouflage body paint across their chests, bared their assets to persuade stunned onlookers and public to donate to buckets to raise cash for British forces,as reported.
The event was organised by artist Fanny Gogh, from Worsley,Greater Manchester,as part of a campaign run by the Support Our Soldiers (SOS) charity set up to aid members of the Armed Forces and their families.
The group campaigns to get better equipment for British forces and sends shoe box parcels of coffee, tea and chocolate to troops in Afghanistan. It’s claimed that British forces abroad have had to get second jobs to raise funds to buy their own equipment.
Sarah Longbottom,a model on yesterday’s march who has a brother serving in the forces, said: “We want to get our lads some decent luxury items,if it means us getting our boobs out then we are going to do it.
“We don’t want to come across as really, really political but on a serious note they are not being looked after so we are here to look after them today.”
