Close has played a number of negative characters on screen including the stalker Forrest and Cruella.

Actress Glenn Close who is best remembered for her role as Alex Forrest in the 1987 hit 'Fatal Attraction' has finally got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Close, who has played a number of negative characters on screen including the stalker Forrest and the crazy fashionista Cruella Deville in '101 Dalmatians' joked that fans could now take revenge against her nasty on-screen characters by stomping on her name, the 'Contactmusic' reported.

Close said, "To be considered a star is one thing, but to be embedded in the sidewalk with life passing over us, that for me is the best part of this honour."

The actress told moviegoers that they could vent their ire against some of her on-screen personas on the footpath. She remarked, "Five-inch heels, flip-flops, Birkenstocks, dropped ice cream cones, the odd tobacco squirt, baby carriages, roller blades, skateboards, wheelchairs - bring it all on." "And if there are those who are really pissed off by... Alex Forrest, they can stomp on me to their heart's content," said Close.
