Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town, celebrated the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev with great fervour on Sunday. The staff and students together recited the “Japji Sahib” path in the presence of Shri Guru Granth Sahib. Students of different classes recited shabads of Guru Nanak’s Bani.
The music team of the school led by the music teacher, Gobinder Singh recited shabads. Many other students of primary and middle sections recited solo shabads and poems.
It was followed by Guru ka Langar, which was prepared and distributed by the staff and students.
