Accusing Narendra Modi of "speaking total lies" regarding discrimination against Gujarat by the UPA government, Congress Legislature Party leader Shaktisinh Gohil today challenged the chief minister to have a debate on the issue on any public platform at a time and place of his own choice.
Gohil told reporters that Modi could come with whatever facts and figures he had to prove his arguments.
Claiming Modi had lost support at the ground level, he said the CM was now resorting to "lies and falsehood" for political gains against the Congress.
"First his party spoke lies in the name of Ram and lost the Lok Sabha polls. Now, Modi is speaking lies in the name of development by releasing advertisements... But Modi is sure to lose because he has done no development for the common man, barring a few rich people and industrialists," he said.
