Brig as Gahlaut bagged the overall championship trophy in the Surya Ordnance Golf Tournament played at Mauribagh Environmental Park and Training Area, Lucknow Cantonment recently.
Events in various were organised in the two-day tourney. The winners in different categories were Capt (Retd) KK Pal (veteran section), Akshita Singh (children), Lt Col Anil (0-12 handicap), Lt Col Rajiv Vaid (13 to 15 handicap), Brig Ravi Kale (16 to 18 handicap). Sarita Kumar won the ladies putting event.
Hockey tourney
The team of Lucknow Veterans defeated Girls Hostel ‘Blue’ by 5-0 while Girls hostel ‘Red’ defeated the team of SAI Day Boarding Girls’ XI by 3-0 in their day's matches of the SN Kapoor Hockey Tournament at CB Gupta Khel Maidan, Lucknow on Monday.
CAL ‘Red’ win
CAL ‘Red’ defeated CAL ‘Green’ by six wickets in their league match of the CAL Triangular Women’s Cricket Championship at KD Singh ‘Babu’ Stadium, Lucknow on Monday.
Batting first, CAL ‘Green’ scored 73 runs losing all its wickets in 28 overs. In reply, CAL ‘Red’ was able to attain the set mark in 34 overs with six wickets to spare.
