Soccer,cricket and now London Olympics. The task of the average hard-at-work boss is getting tougher by the day and Google is not helping the poor man’s cause at all with its latest doodle – the innocuously named Google doodle London Olympics 2012 hurdles.

Now,the behemoth Internet entity wants employees,and everyone else too,to take time off at work to play,in the time of Olympics,what else,but an intensely competitive game.

That it is catching,extremely catching is a truism and what is worse,it is pitting employees against each other – the result is that unhappy underlings are going hammer and tongs at it trying to whip their immediate superiors or upstarts and other sundry colleagues-seen-as-competitors into submission.

Google doodle hurdles game is catchy all right,but it is the venom behind it that really packs a punch – literally the push has come to a shove in the employee cubicle space.

What the interactive game lets its players do is pit himself against peers and superiors in a race of hurdles. Google doodle hurdles (only one player – you – is visible on screen and the game lets you use the left-right arrow keys that allow you to run (spacebar lets you jump) over and above the 10 hurdles – KISS effect here – for the uninitiated that is,keep it simple,stupid.

If you manage to finish Google London 2012 hurdles race under 11.8 seconds then you get a 3-star rating which gives you chance to showcase your achievement on Google+ and gets you a beer in the evening from colleagues who vow vengeance for the morrow.
