The ongoing legal tussle between the government and the Creative Infocity Limited (CIL) the developers of Infocity complex near Gandhinagar has forced the latter to put on hold its expansion plans and transform the entire complex into a state-of-the-art IT hub of Gujarat.
Recently, the Gujarat Informatics Limited (GIL) the governments IT arm had issued notices to the CIL for termination of master lease and concession agreements inked in 2001 and 2000 respectively.
The termination notices had been issued to the CIL for material and contumacious breaches of both the agreements by the Infocity developers.
