  • This is the first time in recent years that the capital outlay has gone below the 40 per cent mark, raising concerns from experts that the modernisation of the Armed Forces can take a hit specially given the growth rate of the Chinese military.

The erosion of capital budget is not being seen as a healthy sign given that experts unanimously agree that 50 per cent of the defence budget should be marked for modernisation of the Armed Forces.

defence pensionBy: Nk DC Banerjee | 07-Jul-2009 Reply | Forward a large no of defence pensioner is totally in dark about his/her pension structure. We know that every record and CDA are very busy. but i am requesting to every record office please send CURRENT pension structure (Basic DA)to every pensioner (to his/her bank/home adress) after every Central Pay Commission. It is a very hard tusk but could be done.
