Grandfather wills property to grandkids,enraged father kills them

A man allegedly killed his two children by throwing them into a well in a village near here after their grandfather transferred property to them,police said.

The grandfather had taken the decision to transfer the property to the two children as his advice to his son to break his alleged relationship with a woman fell on deaf ears.

Furious over his father’s decision,the accused last night took his son and daughter,aged between 3 and 4 years,out of their home at Vadapazhanji village with a promise to buy them snacks and flung them in a well,they said.

The accused had been arrested and the bodies of the children retrieved,police said.
