A 32-year-old granthi was on Monday held by Ludhiana police with 190 gram methaphetamine (ice) whose value in international market is pegged at Rs 2 crore.
Satvir Singh was coming from Dholewal bridge on foot and was carrying a bag on his shoulder. ASI Satpal Singh searched his bag and found a white powder which weighed 190 gram. Booked under the NDPS Act, he was a regular visitor to the city to supply this drug to his high-profile customers. Already cases against him were registered in Kartarpur and Mukandpur. Police authorities said he would be produced in court to seek his police remand.
