The Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) has brought its third LNG cargo to the LNG Petronet terminal at Dahej in south Gujarat.

The state-owned energy company has brought the cargo containing around 75 million metric standard cubic metres (MMSCM) of gas sourced through British Gas from Trinidad and Tobago.

According to GSPC officials, the company will supply fuel through the gas grid developed by the Gujarat State Petronet Ltd (GSPL). The company has started procuring the fuel directly from the international market and is presently in discussion with several international suppliers for its requirement of LNG cargos on long-term and short-term bases, they added.
