Three persons were lynched to death outside a police outpost on Wednesday by residents of Kadwal village,13 km from Pavi Jetpur near Vadodara. The villagers alleged they were thieves.

According to Pavi Jetpur police,villagers patrolling the borders of Kadwal and a neighbouring village,Jhadi,found four persons moving around in a suspicious manner early on Wednesday. “They caught three of them. One managed to escape. Angry villagers tied them up next to the Kadwal police outpost and pelted them with stones,” said Sub-Inspector L J Vaghela.
