Hallomajra road project hits a wall

Area councillor Ram Lal said,“There is a spurt in the construction process in the past few months. According to the draft prepared by the UT Administration,a road has to be built in the area. However,parts of the land have been sold off. No one knows who the buyers or the sellers are.”

There are numerous instances where encroachers have been allowed to thrive. In most of the cases the illegal constructions are regularised after a while. Even Deep Complex primarily comprises residents who had encroached the land. Subsequently,all facilities were provided to them.
