Haryana aims for 20% forest cover

Haryana Forest Conservator Naresh Kadyan has said that 20 percent area will be brought under forest cover in a phased manner under the new Forest policy. He said that at least 20 percent of the mountainous and plain area should be under forest area,but in Haryana it was only seven percent of the total area. Kadian was addressing press conference at Naraingarh with regard to celebrating the Van Mohtsava on July 18.
