Haryana allows parking permits in ‘controlled areas’

The Town and Country Planning department of Haryana has approved a policy to grant permission for parking in 'controlled areas'. "Since there is no policy in the department for grant of Change of Land Use (CLU) permission exclusively for parking purpose in controlled areas, a policy for grant of permission for parking in agricultural zone or transport and communication zone adjacent to the CLU granted area or SEZ has been approved," a state government's spokesperson said.
