Investigators in Delhi are exploring the possibility that the militants might have used carriers for planting the suitcases in the train. A senior Delhi Police officer said they have a list of about 68 carriers who have been active in carrying out illegal trade across the border. “It is possible that the militants might have used carriers for planting explosives,” a senior Delhi Police officer said.

Meanwhile, train driver Karan Dewan, assistant driver Sanjay Kumar along with the guard and TTE today appeared before a Haryana Police team and recorded their statements. The Commissioner for Railway Safety will start his inquiry on Friday. All officials, who recorded their statements, have been told to appear before it on Friday and Saturday.
