HC admits interim petition by Adani

The HC on Thursday admitted an interim petition by Rajesh Adani,the MD of Adani Group,for modifications in the bail conditions. The CBI had arrested Adani from Goa on February 27 in a case of duty evasion. He was later released on bail. In the interim petition,Adani has requested the court to modify the bail application,which restricts him from leaving Ahmedabad. The interim petition asks for relief from this condition stating that he needs to go out for business purposes. The court will hear the petition on April 8.The court also granted permission to the CBI,which asked for more time to file reply in the case.
