  • The Delhi High Court on Friday allowed the DDA to go ahead with the allotment process of over 5,280 flats to the people who were successful in lucky draw in December last year, an exercise which was mired in controversy following charges of irregularity.

Justice G S Sistani passed the order after the Economic Offence Wing of the Delhi Police submitted a report in the court giving clean chit to the DDA.

The court vacated the stay which was imposed on the process of allotment after complaints were registered accusing the DDA of committing irregularities during the draw.

The Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police had probed the charges of irregularities in the draw.
