Bombay High Court has asked Raj Thackeray to surrender before a railway court.

The Bombay High Court on Tuesday set aside bail granted to MNS chief Raj Thackeray by a lower court and asked him to surrender before the Railway court in Kalyan on June 29. The case for which Raj will have to appear before Railway court in Kalyan, about 50 kms from Mumbai, pertains to attack by his party workers on candidates appearing for railway examination last October.

"The High Court has set aside bail granted to him by Kalyan magistrate's court, as well as the anticipatory bail given by Kalyan sessions court," said senior advocate Amit Desai, the special public prosecutor in the case. "He has been asked to surrender on June 29 before railway magistrate's court, as the Government Railway Police had sought his custody," he said.

Why no one responds for betterment?By: Prashanth Hegade | 24-Jun-2009 Reply | Forward It was Surat back in 1995s or so when I thought I had seen enough of utter insults to fellow human beings by the shameless squatters attending to the nature's call so openly
Amangal, Amangal !!By: M Manohar | 21-Jun-2009 Reply | Forward Well, all wheels seem stopped when an ugly face of the Railway lines was brought up by Shobha ! Who else also is responsible other than Congress here? Congress had no desire to maintain this city on par with any international town even - being slaves to Delhi is their ultimate life time achivement; thinking of comparing your own city (bah!) with any other foreign city will be like calling Kareena, "mirror mirror on the wall" you know it all do you not, now? What has been going on by the rail lines particularly more so openly since 1970 onwards with a definite increase in the influx in the city. And should we believe Railways is in more ways than one encouraging it because of many familiar faces? And how come we all are accepting it? Did some one say Shanghai or Shi Ghai? Don't now tell me we are better off than Kolkatta, it wouldn't be in any good taste. Animals are better off than these worms. Can it not be stopped just for the sake of being on tether end of being called human beings?
Stop this humbug, for humanity's sakeBy: Shobha Deodhar | 17-Jun-2009 Reply | Forward Thackerays and all aside. These matters will take their own course. But now that railway court is mentioned herein, may I draw attention of those railway employees responsible, I do not know which ones they are or really could be, sorry, to see that some thing is done about that early morning scenario by rail lines in our metropolitan city? It is downright subhuman if anything. If crossing railway lines is an offense, what would this amount to be? And we are talking about Environment? Hypocrites !
Stop the hypocrisyBy: Vikas Joshi | 17-Jun-2009 Reply | Forward Balakrishan, Ramanna et al: fist scrap Article 370 and then criticize Raj Thakceray. As long as Article 370 exists, criticizing him is nothing less than hypocrisy.Yes indeed Marathi signboards are compulsory. No it is not upto the shopkeeper. If you are doing business in a state, you have to do so as per the rules of the state concerned and not as per your own made up. Tamil signboards are compulosory in TN and so for other states and MH can be no exception. If you are doing business, making money in MH you have to abide by the rules of the Government of Maharashtra-which in this case is to have a Marathi signboard. Those who are against this should first clarify whether Kannada, Tamil, et al are compolsury and if so why they object to the same in MH. Not that it matters-because Marathi signboards are indeed compulsory so long as that is the case in other states.
