HCL Info,MTNL shares tank over CBI probe

HCL Infosystems and MTNL ended the day on a weaker note,shedding 5.65 and 0.56 per cent,respectively on the BSE on Thursday.

Shares of IT firm HCL Infosystems settled at Rs 98.60,down 5.65 per cent from the previous close. In intra-day,the scrip shed 11.43 per cent to touch a month’s low of Rs 92.55.

State-run MTNL ended the day with a loss of 0.56 per cent at Rs 44.70. In intra-day,the scrip dipped by 4.33 per cent to touch a low of Rs 43.

Meanwhile,in a choppy trade,the BSE key index Sensex finished the day at 18,384.90,down 0.05 per cent.
