  • Nearly 250 officials from the state Health Department were administered Tamiflu tablets as a precautionary measure in Gandhinagar on Friday. This comes a day after three department officials were quarantined for suspected swine flu and two others, including Health Secretary Ravi Saxena, were tested positive.

Principal Secretary Ravi Saxena said, “Myself and Paresh Dave, the additional director of public health, have tested positive for swine flu.” He added that some other officials, who came in contact with “us have been quarantined”. Meanwhile, CM Narendra Modi, recouping from swine flu, joined his office after a week-long isolation.
