Booth no. 169 in Jamjodhpur saw the highest voter turnout at 80.38%. The turnout at booth no. 27 in Surat North constituency was 69.98% while booth no. 69 in Bhavnagar Rural constituency recorded 78.31% polling
Heavy voter turnout was reported on Sunday from the three booths in as many Assembly seats. The Election Commission had ordered re-polling where polling were suspended due to faults in EVMs during the first phase of Assembly election held on December 13.
Polling booth number 169 Kotda in Jamjodhpur Assembly seat witnessed the highest voter turnout with 80.38 per cent, according to officials.
Voter turnout at booth number 27 Katargam in Surat North Assembly constituency was recorded 69.98 per cent.
Polling booth number 69 Kamlej-III in Bhavnagar Rural Assembly seat registered 78.31 per cent polling in the re-polling, EC sources said.
In Bhavnagar rural, two political heavyweights — BJP's Parshottam Solanki, and Leader of Opposition and Congress Legislature Party leader Shaktisinh Gohil - are contesting against each other.
