Supermodel Heidi Klum has legally changed her name to Heidi Samuel, adopting the last name of her singer husband Seal Samuel.

The German beauty who recently gave birth to the couple's third child had the request to legally change her name approved by a Los Angeles court commissioner on Friday, November 20, reported Ace Showbiz.

The 'Victoria's Secret' model who recently returned to the runway just a month after giving birth, has not yet confirmed if she would use the name for work commitments.

The 35-year-old filed legal papers earlier last month, seeking to adopt Seal's last name. In the documents she cited "marriage" as the reason for the name change.

The supermodel and the singer have been married since May 2005. They are parents to two sons, Henry Gunther Ademola Dashtu Samuel and Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel, and a month old daughter Lou Sulola Samuel.
