Cast: Mrunmayee Lagoo,Kitu Gidwani,Milind Ginaji,Neena Gupta,Kanwaljeet Singh Director: Raja Unnithan Rating:** A confused young girl has no idea what she wants to do with her life. Her mother is over-protective,her father wants to let her be. 'Hello Zindagi tells a familiar coming-of-age tale, with a hard-worked debut, but without too much zing. Fresh-out-of-college Kavita (Lagoo) snorts coke and spends nights with strangers. Thats her way of rebelling against authority. She runs into a woman (Gidwani),who is a doctor stuck in a loveless marriage and who is also equally at sea,and both fetch up in Goa,in search of self. Lagoo is alive and expressive, and she could have done better with a better script, and better tech-specs. She does find a life saver in a man (Gunaji) who is busy saving turtles on the beaches of Goa,the only new element in the film. But thats not enough for a full-fledged feature to be fully engaging. shubhra.gupta@expressindia.com
