  • The Madras High Court today granted an interim stay on the order of the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT), directing Sun TV network to share signals with Direct-to-Home (DTH) operator TataSky. A single judge Bench of Justice Mohan Ram granted the stay after admitting a writ petition by Kalanidhi Maran-owned Sun TV.

In its writ petition, the South-based broadcaster sought the quashing of the interim order passed by TDSAT on March 18, asking it to provide its signal to TataSky on a-la-carte (pick and choose) basis.
