Himachal Pradesh CM Dhumal shifted to AIIMS

Last evening ,when his condition deteriorated and he also showed signs of dehydration and respiratory distress forcing his immediate hospitalisation.

State’s Health Minister Rajeev Bindal said condition of chief minister had improved considerably at IGMC after his admission. Some necessary tests were also carried out there.

The reports of all these tests were also available to the doctors.There was nothing serious as such except infection reported earlier,Bindal informed.

However the doctors ,as a precaution,were of the opinion that there was need for a detailed investigations to know the cause of infection,which kept spreading in past three days. “ There is no rpt no better place than AIIMS for such investigations and treatment of the infection of this kind”,he said.

IGMC’s Senior Medical Superintendent Dr K.S.Rana said chief minister required further investigations about the UTI infection . “His condition has improved in the morning. He also had his breakfast in the hospital ward ” he said

Chief secretary Rajwant Sandhu,who was at the hospital when a decision was taken to shift Dhumal to AIIMS said “ Chief Minister ‘s condition is much stable ,infact had improved .He himself walked out of the hospital ward,and moved down to his residence ,where he took lunch ,watched TV for a while before flying to New Delhi for the AIIMS ”.

Dhumal had canceled all his official and party engagements on Thursday and skiped BJP’s ntaional executive meeting at Lucknow because of his ill health and diarrhea infection.
