  • Hinduism is not a religion, but a way of life, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Monday night in his maiden speech at the end of a month-long training camp at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur.

Referring to religious conversions in the country, Bhagwat said one should have respect for other religions and hurling abuses at others faith was not good.

Expressing his concern over rise in terrorism and poverty, the RSS chief called for systematic efforts to eradicate the two evils from the society.

He said India can not be compared with other countries in the world as the country has its own identity which is unity in diversity.

Former Supreme Court Judge, Justice K T Thomas who was chief guest for the function did not turn up citing domestic problems at his residence in Kottayam, Kerala. Instead he sent a three page message which was read out on the occasion.

Hinduism is a Maya, an Imposition.By: Child of God | 13-Aug-2009 Reply | Forward It has become a trend for everyone to term their religion as 'Not Religion but a Way of Life'. Whatever it is, I have a question of every religous person, especially Hindus? Did you choose to be born in your religion before birth? Is your religion great because YOU were born in that religion? Do you make your religion proud by your exemplary life, character and conduct or is it the vice versa, i.e, does your religion make you proud? How many of you hindus have read your scriptures, tenets, doctrines and principles? How many of you know sanskrit, a sweet language? Is not your religion imposed on you by your parents and society? Is not your religion passed on you as a tradition? How many of you are following your religion as result of conviction following a personal testimony? Being ignorant of your own religion yet claimint it to be the greatest, is it not hypocrisy? Everyone of you please introspect into your ownselves. Also attempt to know about other faiths and then judge.

Hindus are not Hindus?By: Hero Vaz | 11-Jun-2009 Reply | Forward If Hinduism is not a religion, what is the religion of those whose way of life is Hinduism? Are they godless or atheists? Or do they worship money, which gives power and makes the world go round? Mohan Bhagwat, by his statement, shows that he does not know anything about Hinduism nor does he even know the meaning of the word 'religion'. Such an ignorant character is shockingly in public life in India and makes fools of Hindus in the eyes of the world.
Dear "ZERO" VazBy: Rajeev | 10-Aug-2009 Reply | Forward First you understand what is the meaning of "Religion". Hindu just means people who live in the banks of River Indus. This terminology was introduced few hundred years ago by the Mugals. Before that there is no such term called "Hindu". Yes, strictly speaking Hindu's are non-regligious. That is we don't have any religious dogma. No one man show. No Super Boss. Hindus can live as they want to do without sacrificing the Sathya

Petrol pump chors claims to be owner of our Hinduism. By: DR.PETROL PUMP CHOR | 10-Jun-2009 Reply | Forward Osama-bin-Laden claimed to represent all Muslims of the world and sanghis also cliam to represents all of us Hindus in the world, but that is not true, because such sorts represent wickedness and nothing more.
