Congress today said its victory the bypoll to Hisar Lok Sabha would be a "fitting reply" to forces which are out to "undo" the good" work of UPA government and a "matter of prestige" for party chief Sonia Gandhi. "It is not a question of just one seat of Hisar.We have to give a befitting reply to those forces which are at work attempting to undo our good work. This (the polls) is a matter of (Congress President) Soniaji's prestige," Congress General Secretary and party in-charge for Haryana affairs B K Hariprasad said addressing the general body meeting of PCC here. He asked Congress workers and leaders to unitedly work towards ensuring victory of Congress candidate Jai Prakash from Hisar. Underlining how important it was for Congress to win the Hisar bypolls,Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said "today,it is not a question of just a seat but it is a question of the entire state and our political future". In a message to his detractors in the party,Hooda said "if somebody thinks Jai Prakash will lose and it will improve his own prospects in future,he is wrong. Future of all of us is connected with Congress' doing well". Hooda,Haryana Congress President Phool Chand Mullana,party MPs from the state,including Navin Jindal,Shruti Chowdhry,Ashok Tanwar besides some state Ministers,MLAs and former legislators were among those who were present and spoke on the occasion. Besides Birender Singh,other known detractors of the Chief Minister,Union Minister and Ambala MP,Selja,Haryana Minister Kiran Chowdhry,party MPs Avtar Singh Bhadana,Arvind Sharma,Rao Inderjit and Ishwar Singh were among those not present at today's meeting.
