Dr. Renu Mahtani was recently felicitated for her project Prayam Yoga at Bal Gandharv Rangmandir by Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. Mayor of Pune Mrs. Vaishali Bankar was also present at the ceremony. Mahtani's project is a workshop that focuses on teaching yoga from a holistic perspective rather than just focussing on the physical aspects of yoga. "We treat the mind and emotions as well as the body at Param Yoga," says Mahtani, who is a practising physician and yoga therapy consultant in Pune. She has attended various yoga training courses in India as well as abroad.
