Hop on the Yash Chopra train

All those years that Yash Chopra’s actors romanced on the Swiss Alps and danced on train tops against the picturesque mountain backdrop have paid off. On Monday,the Swiss government launched a “Yash Chopra Train” as part of the Jungfrau Railway network in Switzerland. Filmmaker Yash Chopra was present on the occasion to receive this honour from Urs Kessler,CEO of Jungfrau Railways,on the mountain pass of Kleine Scheidegg in Jungfrau. Chopra has also become the first honorary ambassador of Interlaken,a popular tourist destination,besides having a hotel suite named after him at the luxurious Victoria Jungfrau Grand Hotel and Spa. While dignitaries frequently stay at this hotel,Chopra is the only person to have a suite named after him besides King Louis XVI.
