Hope grows for students as GGSIPU adds more seats

  • Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) increased the number of seats in some of its programmes for the upcoming academic session, bringing cheer to aspiring student.  

    The courses, which will have increased seats, are Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and Bachelor of Journalism-Mass Communication (BJMC). The university has also added eight new affiliated institutions for various courses.

    The evening shift batches have also been introduced in a few courses.

    “We have added 10 new institutions for BBA, three for BCA and two for BJMC. Apart from that, evening shifts have also been introduced in all three courses and we have increased the number of seats in many existing institutions,” said Rashmi Atal, Public Relations Officer of GGSIPU.

    Atal said the university is also introducing two new specializations in BBA starting this year. “The new specializations will be in international hospitality and modern office management. There will be an intake of 45 and 70 students respectively for the courses,” she said.

    Meanwhile, the GGSIPU also started its counselling sessions for most of its prominent courses today and would go on till July 14.
