How will the party take care of the infighting?
No party is free of infighting. The Congress has ten times more infighting than us. But infighting can only affect a few hundred votes and cannot be responsible for a difference of 13 lakh votes.

Do you think Brand Sheila will make things difficult for a BJP comeback?
Delhi Pradesh Congress Community president J P Aggarwal himself said that living in Northeast Delhi is like living in hell and Sheila Dikshit did not make a difference in these elections. Even the Congress’s New Delhi candidate, Ajay Maken, has said the same thing. When her party leaders do not believe that it was Sheila magic, then why would it affect our fortunes?

You were the only one from your party to manage a win in the last Lok Sabha elections. Do you think the BJP had to sacrifice one seat because of you contesting and winning the Assembly elections?
I can’t say what would have been the trend. But may be if Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj had stood from Delhi, the results would have been different. However, nothing can be said confidently this time; may be because of the pro-Congress wave no one would have survived.

How is the party planning to reconstruct itself?
Our membership has to be renewed every three years. The process will begin from June onwards and there will be a total shake-up in the organisation.
