The Himachal PCC and the state youth Congress on Sunday hailed the appointment of Rahul Gandhi as the party's vice president. " Rahul Gandhi has the potential and experience to handle Congress affairs and everyone wants to see him as the next Prime Minister. India is going to see a change under him," PCC president Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said. Addressing a press conference in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh Youth Congress vice-president Raghuvir Singh Bali credited the Gandhi scion for 'strengthening' the democratic set up in the Youth Congress. Rahul has ensured transparency and infused a sense of sincerity and dedication among youth
Bali said Rahul's elevation was in the best interests of the Congress and the country. A large number of youth Congress workers from different districts, Assembly constituencies and blocks were present at Bali's residence on Sunday to celebrate the news.
