Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan, producer Karan Johar and director Karan Malhotra are teaming up again for a film post the success of Agneepath.
While Agneepath was a remake of 1991 movie of the same name, their next film Shuddhi, is based on an original story and will hit theatres on Diwali next year.
"It's a large-scale love story, a genre I love. I had a wonderful experience. Karan has a fantastic vision, a combination of aesthetic and commercial sense. Hrithik is a close friend and an outstanding actor. So, its great that the three of us are teaming up again," Karan Johar said in a statement.
"Karan has been preparing for this film for over a year. I've never seen a director work a year in advance on pre-production."
Hrithik, who played the lead in Agneepath remake successfully, is looking forward to get back with the team again.
"I'm really excited to work with the two Karans again. Agneepath is an extremely special film for me and I can't wait to recreate a new world again," he added.
This will be Karan Johar's second Diwali outing since his directorial debut 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' in 1998.
KJo is hoping that the festival will be as lucky for Shuddhi as it was for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The film is scheduled to go on floor by the end of 2013.
