Hrithik Roshan’s ill health halts the shoot of ‘Bang Bang’ and ‘Shuddhi’

Hrithik Roshan has been suffering from recurring headaches for quite sometime.

Hrithik Roshan, who was busy promoting Krrish 3 after his brain surgery, has been suffering from recurring headaches for quite sometime. The actor has been asked to take complete rest, which has further delayed the third schedule of Bang Bang, that was to take off in Mumbai by the end of November. To avoid taking any risks, the makers of both Bang Bang and Shuddhi have pushed their shooting schedules further. When contacted,Siddharth Anand stated that Roshan’s health is their main concern and the actor won’t be in action till the end of the year. “We will start shooting for the third schedule immediately after new year’s eve. Right now,we just want Hrithik to get well soon,” adds Anand. On the other hand,Shuddhi is yet to take off and the first schedule will only start once Roshan fully recuperates and completes the Bang Bang schedule. Director Karan Malhotra mentioned that they are not in a hurry, and the filming will hopefully start off early next year. “It is a mutual understanding and we understand that Bang Bang is his first priority. Hopefully,we should start our first schedule by March – April,” stated Malhotra.

Pankaj Kapur will play a pivotal role in Shuddhi

Meanwhile,Malhotra confirmed that Pankaj Kapur has been signed to play an important role in Shuddhi. This will be the second time Kapur will be seen with Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan together in a film— the last one being Sooraj Barjatya’s Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon in 2003. Malhotra stated,“Yes,we have roped in Pankaj Kapur for an extremely different role. There are several layers to his character, something that we have not seen him doing before. We are excited to have an actor of his caliber in our team.”
