I do not know this. I should be told: Hazare on cracks in team

Hazare was in the city as part of his rally that will cover 35 districts in the state. The rally began from Shirdi on May 1.

Addressing a press conference in the city before holding a rally at a school in Karve Nagar,Hazare said,“The state tour has received tremendous response. People have come in large numbers to support our cause against corruption. The drought situation in many parts of the state is severe. Had the funds allotted for water conservation been used in the right manner,this would not have happened. Money has been conserved here,not water.”

Replying to a question on an attack on his rally,he said,“A minister took the responsibility of the attack on our rally at Nagpur. I called up Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan in the night and he promised that those found guilty would be strictly dealt with. Till today,not even a case has been registered against the minister.”

Reacting to a question about extending his support to BJP against the petrol price hike,Hazare said,“First,let the BJP appoint a Lokayukta in BJP-ruled states. Then we will be able to trust them.”

Blaming the government for the fall of rupee,he said,“The promises made by the government on dealing with corruption and bringing back black money have fallen flat. They attribute the fuel price rise to the fall in rupee but isn’t the rupee fall also government responsibility?”
