I am a Muslim and an Indian as well. I see no distinction between the two. I also do not see any reason to fear the nuclear deal between India and the US. The impression is being created that the nuclear deal, relations with the US, are the enemy of Indian Muslims. But, the fact is the real enemy is poverty, unemployment.
I contest the Left parties’ self-imposed title of certifiers of secularism. This same Left had considered me untouchable when I was part of the NDA. But now the Left parties are standing with the BJP to defeat the government. I committed the mistake of standing with them (the BJP) over Gujarat. It is still on my conscience. I will not commit that mistake again.
