Actor Arjun Rampal feels that film-makers are finally taking him seriously.

Arjun Rampal is going through the best phase of his career. Post ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Rock On’!! and ‘The Last Lear’ [which won him accolades for his fine performance], Arjun feels that film-makers are finally taking him seriously. "I was so disheartened in the intervening period. I started dreading Fridays at one point. Everything boils down to how your films fare at the box-office. Nothing else matters, frankly," Arjun admits honestly.

Arjun has tasted critical and commercial success in ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Rock On!!’. "I am the same Arjun. Only thing, the perception of people has changed," he smiles. The actor will be seen in ‘Fox’ next, directed by actor Deepak Tijori. "I was keen to do a thriller. Deepak is an amazing storyteller. It's his finest film so far," he states. ‘Fox’ is slated for release in February next year.

Arjun has bagged two prestigious assignments -- Prakash Jha's ‘Rajniti’, a modern-day take on 'Mahabharata' and Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi's ‘Kunal’. Also, Arjun plans to start his next film soon, after ‘I See You’. "It will be an action film," is all that he's ready to divulge.
