I used to respect Manmohan Singh when he was not PM: Advani

Advani disagrees with Manmohan Singh saying that calling him a weak PM are not harsh words.

Veteran BJP leader L K Advani,who does not spare any opportunity to criticise Prime Minister Manmohan Singh,on Wednesday said he used to respect him when he was not the Prime Minister.

When he was not the Prime Minister,I used to respect him. Because then,there were no expectations from him, he told a press conference during his 38-day Jan Chetna Yatra,adding Singh ably served the late P V Narasimha Rao as Finance Minister.

Advani said initially when he used to call Singh a weak Prime Minister,people used to object his statement. But now everyone believes that he is a weak PM, he added.

He also disagreed with the Prime Minister’s statement that he used harsh words in his criticism said calling him a weak Prime Minister are not harsh words.

He claimed the government has a lot to hide and called for investigating the role of all senior functionaries of the government in these scams.
